Hello! Here’s another DIY face mask tutorial. Today we are making a pleated face mask with a filter pocket.
What you’ll need:
- Needle and Thread
- 40×20 cm cloth
- 4 Clips
Step-by-Step Procedure:
Step 1
Prepare your 40×20 cm cloth.
Fold it in half and iron.
Fold again and iron.
Make another fold at the top and bottom towards the center, then iron.
Step 2
After ironing, unfold the last two folds and flip to the back.
Pinch and fold the fabric by 1cm, then iron.
Do this step 2 more times. Don’t forget to iron every fold.
Step 3
Unfold everything then flip.
The right side should be facing the right side inside.
Make two small folds at the bottom, then iron.
Flip and fold the other side as well, then iron.
Prepare the garter.
Step 4
Place one end of the garter at the top right corner and the other at the bottom left.
Hold it in place using a clip.
Repeat this step for the other side.
Sew both sides with backstretch.
Step 5
Flip/turn over.
And you’re done!
